At the music video launch in Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of 22/8, Hoa Minzy shared that her visit to Quang Tri on 27/7 inspired the project. She was moved by the stories of heroic Vietnamese mothers. In the video, she portrays the wife of a soldier who fought in the 81-day battle to defend the Quang Tri Citadel.
Directed by Nhu Dang, "Sorrow in Peace" was filmed at the Truong Son Cemetery in Quang Tri and the ancient village of Duong Lam (Hanoi). The production team incorporated scenes from the film "Mua do" (Red Rain) to depict the devastation of war. Composer Nguyen Van Chung wrote the song after a week of research and watching the film to cultivate his emotions.
Hoa Minzy invited Le Thi Minh Thuy, currently Vietnam's youngest heroic mother, to the press conference. Ms. Thuy's husband, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Duong Van Thanh, served in the 910th Air Regiment at the Nha Trang Air Force Officer School (Khanh Hoa). In 2005, he died while training students in a jet trainer due to a technical malfunction. In 2007, he was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces. Ms. Thuy’s son, pilot Duong Le Minh, also died during a flight training mission. In 2018, she was honored with the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" at just over 50 years old.
Hoa Minzy led the audience in a standing ovation to honor Le Thi Minh Thuy. The young heroic mother was moved to tears when the singer presented her with portraits of her husband and son.
Many Vietnamese celebrities attended the event to congratulate the singer, including singers Dan Truong, Chi Pu, and Ngo Kien Huy; actors Ly Nha Ky, Tien Luat, and Huynh Lap; MC Thanh Bach; and Miss Vietnam Tieu Vy.

"Mua do" (Red Rain), produced by the People's Army Cinema, depicts the battle to defend the Quang Tri Citadel from 28/6/1972 to 16/9/1972. Directed by Dang Thai Huyen, the film is based on the novel of the same name by Chu Lai, which won the Vietnam Writers' Association's Novel Award in 2016 and the Ministry of Defense Award. The cast includes young actors such as Do Nhat Hoang, Ha Anh, Steven Nguyen, Phuong Nam, Lam Thanh Nha, Dinh Khang, Hoang Long, and Nguyen Hung. The film will be released nationwide on 2/9.
