Hoang Map began construction on the property in 2023 and expects it to be completed by the end of the year, when he and his family will move in. The actor has divided the land into four sections, building vacation homes in different styles. Connecting the houses are a lake, a bonsai garden, and a rose garden. He has been traveling between Ho Chi Minh City and Lam Dong, personally selecting each potted plant, flower, and tree to be planted.
"The air here is cool, fresh, and good for health," the actor said. "I plan to bring my parents up here to live permanently and oversee the property. My wife, children, and I will remain in Ho Chi Minh City, visiting on weekends. The construction funds are from savings I've accumulated over decades."
Hoang Map says he owes his comfortable life and stable career to his wife's excellent financial management. Thanks to her, he can focus on his work and providing for his family.
According to the actor, his family also owns a villa on a 1,600 m2 plot of land in Dong Nai. He and his family previously enjoyed the peaceful countryside atmosphere in this antique-style house. The actor also uses the property as a filming location for movies he produces, such as *Nha Ong Hoang Co Ma* (*The Haunted House of Mr. Hoang*).

Hoang Map, whose real name is Bui Minh Hoang, is 54 years old and from Can Tho. He studied at the School of Dramatic Arts 2 (now the University of Theater and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City). In addition to performing in comedy shows, he has also produced films such as *Hai Nguoi Cha* (*Two Fathers*), *Hat Ca Bong Benh* (*Floating Songs*), *Chang Map Nghia Tinh* (*The Kindhearted Fat Man*), *Nha Ong Hoang Co Ma* (*The Haunted House of Mr. Hoang*), *Ben Do Lieu Xieu* (*The Rickety Wharf*), and *Hoang Hac Lau* (*Yellow Crane Tower*). In June, he received a master's degree in Film and Television Arts from the Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema. Hoang Map is married with two daughters. His eldest daughter, Khanh Trinh, is following in his footsteps as an actor.
