The "Children for Children" concert, held at the VOH Music One Theater in Da Kao Ward, attracted an audience of around 200. In a rare return to the stage after months of treatment for breast cancer, singer Hong Nhung delivered a powerful performance of "Cho Con" (composed by Pham Trong Cau), accompanied on piano by Kamen Huynh.
During the chorus, Hong Nhung invited the audience to sing along. Following the performance, she expressed her joy at performing for the first time with the son of Miss Vietnam Ha Kieu Anh, whom she has known since he was a child.

Ha Kieu Anh has three children, with Kamen Huynh being her eldest son. She said she encouraged her children to learn music, singing, and horseback riding from a young age to develop confidence and soft skills.
The program also featured a duet by singer Doan Trang and her daughter, Sol Angeline, performing "Em La Hoa Hong Nho" (I Am a Little Rose), a song by Trinh Cong Son. Doan Trang shared that her mother taught her the same song when she was five, for a performance at the start of a new school year.
A moving performance was delivered by visually impaired children from the Nhu Nghia Brotherhood Shelter. As they played traditional instruments for the song "Uoc Vong Cho Tuoi Tho" (Aspirations for Childhood), many in the audience were moved to tears. Some parents said this performance resonated with them the most, highlighting the children's resilience in overcoming adversity.
The "Children for Children" stage showcased the talent of many students from Ho Chi Minh City. The performances were diverse, ranging from piano solos of classical pieces like Mozart's "Allegro" and Franz Schubert's "Hungarian Sonata" to a piano and trombone rendition of Joe Hisaishi's famous film score "One Summer's Day."

The event, organized by the "Nurturing Dreams" sub-chapter of the Vietnam Child Rights Protection Association, aimed to raise funds to support tuition fees for children in difficult circumstances. Ha Kieu Anh, head of the sub-chapter, said: "The program aims to use music to connect, helping children become ambassadors of love and build a sense of responsibility towards the community."
Hosted by MC Binh Minh, the two-hour event was staged with a minimalist style and directed by Diep Van. It concluded with a performance of "Heal the World" by the artists and children. A representative of the organizing committee said the donations will be used to cover monthly tuition fees for disadvantaged children until they turn 18.
