On the evening of 23/8, the beauty from Saraburi province surpassed 76 competitors to win the highest title. Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova crowned her.
With this victory, Veena Praveenar Singh will represent Thailand at Miss Universe in November. She is the first contestant of Indian descent to win the national beauty pageant of Thailand.
The first and second runners-up are Praewwanich Ruangthong from Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (formerly Bangkok) and Naruemol Phimphakdee from Phuket, respectively.
Miss Universe Thailand is a popular beauty pageant that aims to find contestants for Miss Universe. The organization holding the license for the competition is headed by Nawat Itsaragrisil. This businessman is also the president of Miss Grand International. This year, Thailand is hosting Miss Universe.

Veena said if she were to send a short message to help 130 beauty representatives from around the world feel the uniqueness of her homeland, she would emphasize the hospitality and cultural diversity.
"The first words I would say are: welcome to the land of culture. Thailand preserves many diverse traditions, most notably its cuisine, and its people always have smiles on their faces. This is the land of smiles. We welcome visitors of all ages. At the same time, my country is also fully equipped to serve everyone. Come visit Thailand because you will receive joy, happiness, and smiles after every trip," she said.

Born in 1996, she first participated in Miss Universe in 2018 and finished as the second runner-up. Two years later, she returned and won first runner-up. In 2023, she competed again but left fans disappointed with another second runner-up finish. That same year, she became the first married contestant after the organizers expanded the eligibility criteria. In 2022, she married an Indian-Thai businessman, but they divorced in 2024.
