The film's teaser, released on 4/9, reveals a heated argument between siblings Thuong (Le Khanh) and Luc (Thuan Nguyen) at a birthday party. The initially joyful celebration turns tense as Thuong objects to her younger brother's marriage, while Luc feels suffocated by his older sister's constant control. The film also stars Uyen An as Luc's fiancee and Quoc Truong as Thuong's boyfriend, both characters adding fuel to the escalating conflict.
The emotional drama revolves around a family involved in the traditional incense-making business. After a life-altering event, Thuong becomes the sole provider for her brother. As a successful adult, Thuong expects Luc to follow in her footsteps. However, her love transforms into pressure, creating a rift between the siblings and leading them to confront life-or-death situations.
This film marks director Vu Thanh Vinh’s return to the big screen after his 2024 release, "Hai Muoi" (Two Salts), starring Quyen Linh. Last year, "Hai Muoi" faced criticism for its simplistic plot and predictable storyline. Having learned from his debut feature, Vu Thanh Vinh explains that for this new film, he collaborated with a team of experienced screenwriters who have worked on numerous blockbuster projects. "I chose Le Khanh for the lead role due to her comedic talent, which brings a lighthearted touch to the film, while also allowing her to handle emotionally demanding scenes," he said.

Unlike "Hai Muoi", which explored the father-son relationship, this new screenplay delves into the complexities of sibling relationships in adulthood. One of the film's poignant lines is, "Is it possible that we only loved each other when we were young?" The film also features Ta Minh Tam, Hoai Linh, Hanh Thuy, Dinh Y Nhung, and Thanh Thuc.
Le Khanh, 44, is a renowned figure in theater, film, and television hosting. Her filmography includes "Co Dau Dai Chien" (Bride Wars), "Huong Nghiep" (Career Orientation), "Mui Ngo Gai" (Coriander Scent), "Cuoc Chien Hoa Hong" (War of the Roses), "Du Gio Co Thoi" (Even If the Wind Blows), and "Doc Than Tuoi 30" (Single at 30). On stage, she has made her mark with numerous performances at Idecaf and Thien Dang theaters.
She and actor Tuan Khai began dating while studying together at the Ho Chi Minh City College of Theater and Cinema. Although they were classmates, Tuan Khai was the youngest student, while Le Khanh, having started a year later, was three years older. They married in late 2014 after 12 years of dating. In October 2018, they welcomed their first son, Tuan Khang. In late 2021, their second son, Tuan Kha, was born.
