From its founding and throughout the 1920s, the Louis Vuitton archives emphasized beauty, as seen in powder boxes, makeup brushes, and mirrors. La Beaute marks a new milestone, completing the heritage picture.

Creative Director Dame Pat McGrath said that having been backstage at fashion shows for 20 years, she is honored and delighted to play a key role in the birth of La Beaute.
"Makeup is not just a product, but an effect, a passion, and an emotion. This new chapter can take craftsmanship to new heights. Therefore, the La Beaute beauty catalog does not exist in isolation, but is a seamless piece in the Art of Living. Cosmetics harmonize with fashion, handbags, and accessories, painting a universe imbued with the Louis Vuitton mark", McGrath said.

Each La Beaute product is a work of art that awakens a journey of sight and touch, with shades based on iconic Louis Vuitton symbols. In their first collaboration, German designer Konstantin Grcic created lipstick cases and eyeshadow palettes that harmonize aesthetics, elegance, and practicality.
"When developing products, I'm always obsessed with the smallest details: the perfection needed in the product's texture, the appropriate method of use, just the right amount of pigment, and the feeling each product gives you. I always want to break all boundaries in makeup, and this metier is no exception", Creative Director Dame Pat McGrath said.

The lipsticks are crafted with moisturizing ingredients like hyaluronic acid (in the form of sodium hyaluronate), beeswax, and shea butter, creating a smooth feeling on the lips and skin. La Beaute also reflects Louis Vuitton's commitment to sustainability: each product is refillable to enhance the personalization of the beauty journey. The lipstick cases and palettes are made from aluminum and copper, without plastic.
The brand is launching three fragrances from three flowers characteristic of the Grasse region of France – rose, jasmine, and mimosa, crafted by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, enhancing the multi-sensory experience of each makeup application. The company has also designed specific accessories to hold the cosmetics, from lipstick cases to mini trunks.
