The intimate sunset party on 29/6 was attended by family, friends, and colleagues. The venue was decorated with flowers, sheer fabrics, and crystal chandeliers, creating a romantic atmosphere.
Midu wore a feminine, floral-embellished gown, while Minh Dat looked dapper in a suit. They walked hand-in-hand onto the stage to cheers from the guests. There, they reminisced about their first year of marriage.
Midu shared that marriage has brought her maturity and a deeper perspective. "I'm happy to wake up next to someone I love every morning. He keeps loneliness at bay. We do everything together, even simple things like shopping or having coffee," she said.

Minh Dat said that he's developed new habits since getting married. As a bachelor, he mainly worked and went to the gym. Now, he shares household chores with his wife and enjoys simple pleasures that enrich their lives. "Thank you for always being there for me and listening to my work-related thoughts. You've helped me discover my strengths and broadened my thinking. Thanks to you, my potential has multiplied," he said to Midu.
The couple exchanged a kiss as the crowd applauded. Minh Dat surprised Midu with two designer handbags, her favorite accessory. He explained that he chose the gifts in blue and white to represent the sea and sand, reminiscent of where they first met. Afterwards, they sang and danced with their friends.
The 35-year-old Midu, from Ho Chi Minh City, is known for her roles in films like White Angel, Thien Menh Anh Hung, 4 Years, 2 Guys, 1 Love, Karmic Connection, and The Mother-in-Law. Besides acting, she is also a lecturer and entrepreneur. She recently ventured into film production with the project 1314 - Waiting for You on the Old Day, set for online release in July.
Minh Dat, a year younger than Midu, hails from a prominent family known for its plastics business and owns a large corporation. After earning his master's degree in the US, he returned to Vietnam to work for the family company. Their star-studded wedding took place in June 2024. In recent months, Midu has been enjoying married life while resuming her career. Minh Dat occasionally accompanies her to showbiz events.
