The MGI organization crowned Opiaza in June, replacing India's Rachel Gupta who relinquished the title. Opiaza was originally the first runner-up in the October 2024 pageant held in Thailand.
27-year-old Christine Juliane Hinkle Opiaza hails from Castillejos, Zambales. She graduated from the Lyceum of Subic Bay with a degree in Human Resource Development Management in 2018. Standing at 1.72 m, Opiaza is admired for her well-proportioned physique.

The three-hour finale began at 8 p.m.
The fourth edition of the competition kicked off mid-year with highlights including the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest (VBFF) and the National Costume competition. The top 35 contestants also competed in preliminary events such as: The Grand Voice, The Grand Walk, The Grand Heat, The Grand Shoot, The Grand Chat, and The Grand Business.
The judging panel included Ha Kieu Anh (head judge), artist Vuong Duy Bien (vice-head judge), along with Le Hoang Phuong, Doan Thien An, and actor Quoc Truong. The newly crowned Miss Grand Vietnam will compete in Miss Grand International 2025 in November at a location yet to be announced.
Following Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien's victory at Miss Grand International 2021 in Thailand, the Vietnamese license holder decided to hold a national competition to select the representative for the international pageant. The past three winners are Doan Thien An, Le Hoang Phuong, and Vo Le Que Anh.
