My Tam's princess gown collection

Singer My Tam, 44, shines in princess gowns of various colors and materials.

Appearing at an event in Hanoi on the evening of 16/8, My Tam impressed in a princess gown by Phan Huy, crafted from countless layers of ombre voile in predominantly pink and orange tones. Many audience members cheered, praising her youthful appearance. When asked about the secret to her smooth, wrinkle-free skin, My Tam said she diligently eats fruit, specifically from her home garden.

My Tam is famous for many hit songs. The singer has won awards at the 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), Asia's Music Legend, and the Big Apple Music Awards. In 2019, she produced the film "Chi Tro Ly Cua Anh" and continually released new work, including singles and film soundtracks.

The singer held her "Tri Am" anniversary concert tour, celebrating 20 years of singing, in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in 4/2021 and 11/2022, respectively. She introduced her first documentary film, "Nguoi Giu Thoi Gian", in 4/2023, donating the box office proceeds to charity.

Princess gowns are among My Tam's preferred performance attire, complementing her figure and enhancing her charm and femininity. In June, while performing at a program honoring the Vietnamese People's Public Security force, she chose a layered, off-the-shoulder red gown made of voile, leather, cotton, and silk.

A month earlier, at the finale of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, she also chose a similar design from Phan Huy's Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The gown featured a bodice hand-embroidered with thousands of gold beads and crystals. The pleated, flared skirt shimmered with a metallic sheen, creating a dazzling effect.

On stage in March, she shone in a feather-adorned, see-through gown by Nightingale. On social media, fans likened her to a princess from a fairy tale.

The princess gown, with its cinched waist and flared skirt, helps conceal figure flaws. The style gained popularity in the late 1870s and early 1880s, named after Princess Alexandra of Wales.

Earlier this year, during a performance, the Da Nang native accented her look with a bow-adorned gown by Chung Thanh Phong. This decorative detail made her appear youthful and charming.

At her "My Soul 1981" concert in 5/2024, My Tam showed her boldness with a drop-waist princess gown – a style some might shy away from, as the low waist can create the illusion of shorter legs and a longer torso. The pastel blue silk gown was tastefully designed with a black bow at the high waist, balancing her body proportions.

The "Nightingale with Brown Hair" usually opts for three hairstyles when wearing this type of gown: naturally loose, a high bun, or a half-updo.

An asymmetrical, layered gown in black and gold exudes elegance. The black bodice creates a slimming effect at the waist.

My Tam showcased her femininity in a purple floral gown while singing "Hen Uoc Tu Hu Vo" on stage in 2023.
