On 6/7, the celebrity couple publicly shared their joyous news after years of marriage. Phuong Hang is in the final weeks of her pregnancy and is in good health.

"I was overwhelmed with emotion when I found out I was going to be a mother. My husband couldn't hide his excitement either. After years of waiting, we are finally about to fulfill our dream," the actress said.

After their wedding in 2017, the couple focused on their careers and financial stability. Anh Tam was also undergoing treatment for depression, so they postponed having children. Recently, with their lives more settled and their emotional well-being strong, they felt ready to become parents.

Previously, they faced pressure from comments like, "Why haven't you had children after being married for so long?" Phuong Hang admitted to feeling uncomfortable during visits to her hometown, facing questions from relatives and neighbors. However, she reassured herself and tried not to let it affect her state of mind.

For the past several months, Phuong Hang and Anh Tam have been preparing for parenthood, purchasing baby items and learning from their parents, siblings, and colleagues. In her free time, Phuong Hang researched online, reading advice from doctors and experiences shared by parenting groups, jotting down notes in a small notebook.

Anh Tam has reduced his workload to care for his wife. He has been learning to cook nutritious meals using online recipes and family suggestions, varying the menu daily to cater to Phuong Hang's changing tastes. "As I approach fatherhood at 40, I feel some pressure, but I'm adapting. Every time I place my hand on my wife's belly and feel our baby's movements, I'm filled with happiness," he shared.

According to the couple, their families are equally thrilled. Every week, they send food and offer emotional support to Phuong Hang.

As they embark on this new chapter, Phuong Hang and Anh Tam acknowledge a newfound maturity and sense of responsibility. While they were previously focused on their careers and social circles, their priority now is their growing family.

The 36-year-old Phuong Hang has starred in films such as Thu ba hoc tro, Ong to ba nguyet, Chan tinh, and Thuy khuc. However, it was her role in Gao nep gao te that brought her widespread recognition. Her portrayal of Ut Minh earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at the Golden Kite Awards in 2018.

The 41-year-old singer Anh Tam studied acting at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema. He is known for songs like Mot cuoc tinh tan vo, Lai gan hon anh, and De em roi xa. Anh Tam, who also used the stage names Tim 2 and AT, was previously managed by the same company as Minh Hang. Since 2010, he has been working as an independent musician and acted in the film Me oi con ve.
