Rapper Tieu Minh Phung said upon hearing the demo, he immediately thought of inviting Phuong My Chi to collaborate, believing they would create an exciting version of the song. Earlier this year, the pair captivated audiences with their Mekong Delta Wrapped (a medley of songs) at the Lan Song Xanh awards gala, garnering 13 million views.

In the music video, Phuong My Chi and Tieu Minh Phung play members of the bride and groom's wedding party. They dance, joke, and navigate a series of comical situations at the wedding reception. The video also features a cast of stars, including Mac Van Khoa, Huynh Lap, Karik, Quynh Ly, and Tin Nguyen.
Set in an orchard, the video's backdrop features natural elements. Tieu Minh Phung and Phuong My Chi adopt a simple singing style, with the rap section reflecting a similar down-to-earth vibe. The choreography also has an improvisational feel.

The music video has gained popularity among young people, reaching YouTube's trending list. Several behind-the-scenes videos posted on TikTok have also garnered millions of views.
Tieu Minh Phung spent two months producing the music video, aiming to create music that honors folk culture. He chooses elements connected to everyday life in the countryside. In addition to "cai luong" (southern Vietnamese opera), he plans to incorporate "cheo," "tuong," and "xam" (other traditional Vietnamese theatrical forms) combined with rap into his future musical works, hoping to introduce traditional art forms to a younger audience.
28-year-old Tieu Minh Phung, from Ca Mau, rose to prominence on Rap Viet 2024 with performances that combined rap and cai luong. In August, he performed in front of 30,000 spectators at the "Proud to be Vietnamese" program at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi. He also released the music video "Vet chan han tren lua," which portrays Vietnamese police officers and soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for their country. He is currently finalizing his debut EP, scheduled for release in September.
22-year-old Phuong My Chi, from Ho Chi Minh City, became famous at the age of 10 after winning second place in The Voice Kids 2013, where her performance of "Que em mua nuoc lu" (composed by Tien Luan) became a sensation. Over her 10-year singing career, she has released numerous music videos and albums, including "Thuong ve mien Trung" (2017), "16 xuan trang" (2019), "Bat nha thuyen" (2020), and "Vu tru co bay" (2023).
In July, Phuong My Chi secured third place in the Sing! Asia competition, with several performances showcasing Vietnamese culture that impressed both domestic and international audiences. At the end of August, she beat 29 other contestants to win the first season of Em xinh say hi.
