According to the Los Angeles Times, a woman in her 30s was arrested by police after allegedly firing shots at Rihanna's mansion in the Post Office area of Beverly Hills on 8/3. One bullet pierced the house wall. Authorities have not released the suspect's identity and are investigating the motive.

The news outlet reported that the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) received reports of the incident around 13h21 local time on the same day. In the LAPD call recording, investigators noted "about 10 gunshots" were aimed at the house. The suspect was in a white Tesla across the street when the shots were fired. She then drove south on Coldwater Canyon Drive.

Sources confirmed Rihanna was home during the attack. The mansion is home to her, her boyfriend, rapper ASAP Rocky, and their three young children: two boys and one girl. The youngest child is nearly six months old, born in 9/2025. It is currently unclear who else was home at the time.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Sergeant Jonathan de Vera stated there were no reports of injuries. The police department and Rihanna's representatives have not provided further information.
