On 22/9, Quynh Chau first shared the proposal, which took place a year ago on a beach in Phan Thiet. She expressed her happiness in announcing her upcoming marriage to friends, colleagues, and the public.

The beauty queen's fiance is entrepreneur Nguyen Ngoc Phat. They have been together for many years and are often seen at showbiz events. They introduced their families to each other long ago and have received their blessings. In early August, Quynh Chau underwent a baptism ceremony, converting to Catholicism in preparation for married life.

Chau describes her fiance as courageous and understanding. Phat also supports his girlfriend's career development.

Che Nguyen Quynh Chau, 31, is from Lam Dong. She is 1.75 m tall with measurements of 82-61-87 cm. She gained public recognition through fashion programs like Project Runway and Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2014. In 2015, she competed in Miss Ao Dai Vietnam, finishing in the top 5. In 9/2022, Quynh Chau participated in Miss Grand Vietnam and won the 1st runner-up title. She has also ventured into emceeing and acted in films like "Hoa hau giang ho" and "Bo gia."

Nguyen Ngoc Phat is five years older than Quynh Chau. He studied abroad and earned a master's degree in finance in the UK. He currently works in the hotel and accommodation management business.
