Khanh Linh appeared at a press conference in Hanoi on 15/9 for Duong Thu's live concert "Bai hat thu ve". She looked radiant in a simple outfit. After the event, she discussed her work and current life. Having experienced emotional ups and downs, and the pain of losing her father, dan bau artist Pham Ngoc Huong, and brother, musician Ngoc Chau, Khanh Linh now finds joy in music and family. The singer cherishes moments with her mother and finds happiness with her supportive and understanding husband.
Khanh Linh was asked about how her perspective on life has changed after the loss of her loved ones and her mother's serious illness. She calmly managed the funerals for both her father and brother. When her mother's health deteriorated, she feared being orphaned. It was then she truly understood her mother's feelings when her own grandmother passed away. She felt immense relief upon receiving the call to bring her mother home from intensive care. Fortunately, her mother is now stable.
Now in her 40s, Khanh Linh realizes that loved ones can leave at any time, and that she too will eventually pass away. She believes everyone should live a vibrant and joyful life without regrets. She once told her mother that her greatest desire is to do work she loves and contribute to society. Her mother taught her many valuable lessons, emphasizing that their family's greatest wealth was the love between parents and children. She feels fortunate to be their child, the sister of musician Ngoc Chau, and now has a supportive husband and wonderful children.
When asked about how her marriage has evolved after 11 years, Khanh Linh describes her relationship with her husband, businessman Tran Tung, as being like a friendship from the start. They work together on everything, which she believes is the key to their strong bond and her sense of balance over the past decade. After a difficult first marriage, her husband's support, encouragement, and constant motivation have helped her find stability.
They share household chores and childcare duties, believing in collaboration rather than assigned roles. They enjoy mornings filled with conversations, coffee, reading, and discussions about current events. Khanh Linh has recently been reading books about psychology, such as "Thuc tinh muc dich song" and "Vuot qua noi so", to gain a deeper understanding of herself.
They address any issues directly, preventing misunderstandings and arguments. As a result, they enjoy a harmonious marriage.

Khanh Linh and her husband have two teenage sons from previous relationships and a daughter in 6th grade. Their older sons are well-behaved and thoughtful, which makes parenting relatively easy. They communicate openly, and Khanh Linh and her husband avoid imposing strict rules, opting for serious conversations when necessary. Khanh Linh believes in clear communication and addressing issues directly. Her son, Khoa, 19, is studying animation, while her husband's son, Gia Bach, 18, aspires to be a dancer. The boys bonded quickly, which contributed to the smooth transition into their blended family.
Their youngest daughter is introverted but creative, enjoying making toys and drawing. She prefers making things herself rather than buying them. Khanh Linh appreciates her daughter's unique world and, along with her husband, strives to be a friend and companion, avoiding generational gaps.

Following her appearance on The Masked Singer 2023, Khanh Linh has not participated in other music shows. She feels she doesn't fit into the competitive environment of gameshows and prefers not to be judged (laughs). She identifies as introverted and feels uncomfortable in overly enthusiastic settings. In her youth, she prioritized her career, but now seeks balance with family, where she finds joy.
Content with who she is, Khanh Linh avoids excessive ambition, desiring a peaceful life. She believes in focusing on her strengths rather than trying to be someone she's not. While she enjoys contemporary music, she remains true to her own style and works diligently to ensure new releases meet her audience's expectations.
She considered quitting music during a period of creative block and discouragement. However, she rediscovered her passion for singing and recognized her voice as a precious gift to cherish.

Currently, Khanh Linh prefers creating mellow and soulful music. She doesn't strive for viral hits. Last year, she started posting YouTube videos of herself singing with a single instrumentalist (piano or guitar), creating an intimate experience for her audience. She rarely checks viewer counts but notes that her listeners are mostly intellectuals, middle-aged, and reserved, like herself. They share a playful spirit and offer her a sense of warmth and connection.
Having released six albums, Khanh Linh aims to showcase her music through smaller shows, gradually working towards larger performances. Over the next two years, she plans to deepen her audience's understanding of her 20-year career, using this as an opportunity to revisit her own songs.
