The 82nd Venice Film Festival runs from 27/8 to 9/9. The opening ceremony featured the premiere of "La Grazia," directed by Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino, and brought together numerous Hollywood and European movie stars.
George Clooney waved to the audience before stepping onto the red carpet. He was there to promote "Jay Kelly," directed by Noah Baumbach, in which he stars alongside Adam Sandler and Laura Dern.
