Cung Ich Dinh is suspected of sexual assault and invasion of privacy. He posted bail of one million New Taiwan dollars (877 million Vietnamese dong) and was released. He is prohibited from leaving the country and from contacting or harassing Giang To Binh for two years.
Giang To Binh filed the lawsuit against Cung Ich Dinh on 11/9. According to the actress, they were previously in a relationship that had ended. The alleged assault occurred in June, after their romantic relationship was over. After a gathering with friends, Cung Ich Dinh went to Giang To Binh's home. He allegedly took advantage of her fatigue, switched her medication with a powder, and gave it to her, causing her to lose consciousness. He then allegedly assaulted her and sent a video of the assault to several people. Upon regaining consciousness, Giang To Binh demanded he delete the video, but he reportedly threatened her.

Earlier this month, the actress posted several messages on social media accusing her ex-boyfriend, but she has since stated that she has entrusted the matter to her lawyer and will no longer discuss the case publicly. She is experiencing insomnia, fear, and physical and mental exhaustion. "My mother is worried and heartbroken, which is the last thing I want," she wrote on social media. "I will calm down, listen to everyone's advice, and let my lawyer handle the issue. I trust the court's judgment."
Cung Ich Dinh previously worked at Sanlih E-Television. According to Giang To Binh, he resigned from his position due to concerns about the impact on the company. She also accuses Cung My Phu, Cung Ich Dinh's father and the deputy director of Sanlih E-Television, of protecting his son.

In a statement on 5/9, Sanlih E-Television announced that Cung My Phu had stepped down from his position to cooperate with the investigation, according to CNA. The television station's management emphasized their commitment to "maintaining a strict and safe workplace and not tolerating sexual harassment." Sanlih E-Television, founded in 1992, is one of the largest content producers in Taiwan.
Cung My Phu stated he is actively cooperating with the company's internal investigation. "I believe my son," he said. "Ich Dinh is an adult; if he did something wrong, he must take responsibility. But I believe the law will ultimately clear his name."
Cung Ich Dinh admitted to dating Giang To Binh, but claims they broke up at the end of 8/2025, not in June as the actress stated. He denies the sexual assault allegations, claiming she is "emotionally unstable and fabricating stories" because she couldn't hold onto him.
