The 27-year-old new Miss Hong Kong is currently pursuing a doctorate in education at the University of London (UK). According to HK01, she was among the most academically accomplished contestants this year, with a remarkable record. She graduated from the University of California (USA) and then earned a master's degree in Technology Management from Columbia University. |

Tran Vinh Thi is passionate about sports. Since the age of 13, she has been a member of the Hong Kong Rhythmic Gymnastics team. She shared that to pursue her dream of joining the team, she endured days of 20-hour training sessions. "I wasn't tall enough, and my physique wasn't as good as others, so I could only strive to compensate for those shortcomings," Vinh Thi said. |

When competing in the pageant, she was aware of her height disadvantage. However, Vinh Thi believed that confidence played a significant role. "Believing in yourself is essential. It's not necessarily about your face or height. It could be your knowledge or your warmth and radiance that truly matters when you step out into the world," she stated. |
