Kiatisuk is widely regarded as the greatest player in Thai football history. At the national team level, he holds records for most appearances (134 matches) and most goals (71 goals). Kiatisuk won three Tiger Cups (the predecessor to the AFF Cup) and four SEA Games gold medals (in 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999). As a coach, he led the Thai national team to victory in the AFF Cup in 2014 and 2016, and secured a SEA Games gold medal in 2013.
He played abroad in Malaysia, England, and Singapore. In 2002, at age 29, Kiatisuk moved to Vietnam to join Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL), a high-profile transfer in Southeast Asia at the time. With HAGL, Kiatisuk won the V-League for two consecutive years (2003-2004) and retired from playing with the club in 2006. He later coached HAGL and Cong an Ha Noi.

According to Sanook, Perth has a large fan base due to her youthful, dynamic, articulate style, and graceful communication.

Kiatisuk wore a stylish, elegant outfit with sneakers at the University of Surrey (England) graduation ceremony for his second daughter, Proud, in late January. He expressed pride that his daughter overcame many challenges during her six years of study abroad in England and will soon pursue a master's degree.
"Life abroad is not easy, from adapting and studying to daily living, but Proud has done very well. All these valuable experiences will stay with her for life. Whether she chooses to work or continue her studies, I will always fully support her.
