The quiet life of Xiao Enjun, the 'Little Li Flying Dagger'

Taiwanese actor Xiao Enjun, known for his role in "Little Li Flying Dagger", has stepped back from the entertainment industry to care for his elderly mother and pursue his passion for nature photography.

According to Next Apple, after years of relative seclusion, Enjun recorded a new song this summer with his daughter, Xiao Manding. Manding shared that during the recording session, her father was moved to tears while singing a duet with her for the first time.

Xiao Manding sees Xiao Enjun as the best father, always supportive of her pursuing her passions. The actor once told his daughter, "Whether you get married or not is up to you, as long as you're not hurt. Even if you don't marry and have children, it's okay. I will help you take care of the baby, be your support, as long as you're always happy."

Xiao Manding is pursuing a career as a singer and actress. Xiao Enjun admits he worries about his daughter facing difficulties in the industry, but believes in letting her forge her own path without interference. He waits for her at home, cooks her favorite meals, and listens to her stories about work.

He calls himself a "super housekeeper" in Taiwan. Every day, Xiao Enjun spends time with his 94-year-old mother, cleaning the house, doing laundry, taking her for walks, and cooking. He has learned to prepare a variety of dishes suitable for seniors, often presenting them attractively and varying the menu to keep things interesting. The actor finds peace and warmth in these simple daily routines.

Xiao Enjun also dedicates time to his passion for photography, often capturing images of his mother and nature. He can spend hours patiently waiting to capture the perfect shot of birds or reptiles.

The actor has not dated anyone since his divorce from his second wife, Lin Tienyu, in 2020. In an April interview with Ettoday, when asked about seeking a new partner, he responded, "I'll think about that later."

He first married in 1994 and has two children, Manding and Nghi Tran. The couple divorced in 2005. The actor is private about his personal life and rarely mentions his former wives, saying he "doesn't want to affect their current lives."

Xiao Enjun was a leading actor in the Chinese entertainment industry during the 1990s. He starred in numerous popular productions such as "Little Li Flying Dagger" (as Li Xunhuan), "Bao Lian Deng", "Green Snake, White Snake", "Justice Bao" (as Zhan Zhao), and "Hua Tan Hua No." After his role in "Huang Pu Shen Yi" in 2018, Enjun has largely withdrawn from the entertainment industry.
