The single life of the 'most beautiful Pan Jinlian on screen'

Taiwanese actress Wang Si Yi, who played Pan Jinlian in the 1998 television series "Water Margin", chooses a single life, finding joy in acting and traveling.

Wang Si Yi has been busy filming. According to Mango TV, she spent the last month in Jiangxi, China, working on the new film "Shao Nian Su Xing". Prior to that, she wrapped up filming for "Dao Noi Duong Tam". In recent years, the actress has consistently worked in film and television, and says one of the greatest perks of her career is the opportunity to travel. Wang Si Yi takes advantage of every filming location to explore, experience local cuisine, and learn about regional customs.

In addition to acting, Wang Si Yi owns a teahouse in Beijing. She also runs a video channel focusing on tea, lifestyle, and wellness for middle age. Many of her short films attract thousands of comments.

In a personal video, Wang Si Yi acknowledged that she is no longer at the peak of her fame but continues to work diligently. As a result, she feels a sense of daily progress. “It doesn't matter if I’m not as wealthy as others, what matters is that I'm living better than before. I’m doing well now. My single life is quite enjoyable and free, without too many burdens," Wang Si Yi said.

She strives for financial comfort to provide for herself and her family. Every year, she travels abroad with a group of close friends. The actress doesn't feel bored because her work is fulfilling, she has goals, and friends to share her life with.

On BRTV, she revealed a brief past marriage that she prefers not to discuss. Occasionally, she feels a longing for motherhood when she sees children, but feels she hasn't found that path yet.

The actress has dated several men, some of whom were married and lied to her about their marital status. She admits these were damaging relationships, leaving her with guilt and remorse for the wives of those men.

“You can guess how those relationships ended. I rarely talk about love because my experiences haven't been positive. But it’s all in the past now. I share my story as a warning to other women. Don’t get involved with married men; don't believe the sweet words of any married man," Wang Si Yi said.

Born in 1972, she began her career in the Taiwanese entertainment industry as a model. In 1993, she made her television debut in "Justice Bao" (as Ou Yang Ling Long). In 1998, Wang Si Yi rose to prominence playing the "adulteress" Pan Jinlian in the television series "Water Margin". To this day, many viewers remember her for this role, calling her the "most beautiful Pan Jinlian on screen".

Following "Water Margin", she continued her career in mainland China, appearing in productions like "Da Duong Ngu Su Ta Dao Hoan", "Anh Hung Muc Que Anh", and "Nuoc Mat Hoa Le". In the 1990s and 2000s, she was a prominent actress in the Chinese-speaking film industry, frequently appearing in commercials.
