Thousands of fans await 'Call Me By Fire Vietnam' concert

Fans lined up and interacted with artists before the Saturday concert of 'Call Me By Fire Vietnam' on the evening of 6/9.

The program began around 7 p.m., but fans arrived early to participate in photo opportunities and meet some of the performers.

The audience secured their seats for a good view of the concert. Video: Provided by the organizers.

The check-in process was expedited by the large number of staff assisting attendees.

The check-in area, with two entrances and dozens of lanes corresponding to different ticket tiers, allowed fans to receive wristbands for entry. Despite the large crowd, everyone queued in an orderly fashion.

A group of 4 Kay Tran fans from Hanoi arrived in Ho Chi Minh City last night. They lined up at the venue from 1:30 p.m. to see the show.

Thanh Hang (left), 28, traveled from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City for the concert. She said she had attended six previous concerts and would attend both the 6/9 and 7/9 shows. Regarding her continued enthusiasm, she said, "There are eight concerts, but they occur roughly every three months. This is enough time for me to recover after each show."

Fans with standing tickets arrived from 4 p.m. to secure spots near the barricade, where artists often interact with fans.

A "sea" of people gathered before the stage before the show began.

The audience enthusiastically participated in games with artist Lien Binh Phat. Earlier, S(TRONG) Trong Hieu and Thanh Duy interacted with fans and posed fun questions.

Fans brought bandanas printed with the program's name and colors.

Two young fans brought lightsticks and handheld hashtags featuring Kay Tran.

Call Me By Fire Vietnam is adapted from the popular Chinese television show *Call Me By Fire*. The show features 33 male celebrities over 30 working in the entertainment industry. Through various rounds, contestants perform in groups, and the top 17 scorers form a band called Gia toc Toan Nang (All-Around Family).

The show's producers have held 4 concerts in Ho Chi Minh City and Hung Yen. Call Me By Fire Vietnam, along with another show, has been recognized as a significant cultural event of 2024 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested replicating the model of these two programs to further develop the cultural industry.
