The film crew held a launch event in Ho Chi Minh City on 9/7 to discuss the roles in the film. Thuy Ngan and Vo Canh reunite after their project "7 Nam Chua Cuoi Se Chia Tay", which garnered attention in 2024.

Thuy Ngan plays Angel, an investigator looking into the cause of an accident. Vo Canh plays Duc Nhan, an undercover police officer with emotional scars and a sharp mind. As they work together on the case, feelings develop between them.

According to Thuy Ngan, their love scenes in the previous film were gentle, while this new project required a more proactive and dramatic approach. "We were often awkward and embarrassed. There was a 5-second scene that took nearly 7 hours to film from various angles. The crew wanted to create something different for the viewers," she said.

Vo Canh said he felt less pressure acting alongside Thuy Ngan for the second time due to their familiarity. However, he still felt awkward filming intimate scenes with her, requiring multiple takes.

Over the past year, Thuy Ngan and Vo Canh have been subject to dating rumors due to their affectionate moments at events and shared travels. However, neither has confirmed the relationship.

Directed by Nguyen Hoang Anh, the 28-episode action-packed crime film explores social issues, family dynamics, and marital conflicts. The cast also includes Le Phuong, Tuong Vi, Otis Do Nhat Truong, Do Nhat Hoang, Tiko Tien Cong, Trinh Thao, and runner-up Thuy Tien.

Vo Canh, 34, from Gia Lai (formerly Binh Dinh), is 1.86 m tall. He gained recognition as a model before transitioning to acting. His filmography includes "12 Chom Sao: Ve Duong Cho Yeu Chay" (2015), "Su Menh Trai Tim" (2016), and "Cat Do" (2020). He took a 3-year hiatus before returning in 2024 with a remake of the popular Korean drama "Secret Love".

Thuy Ngan, 35, whose full name is Le Huynh Thuy Ngan, has been active in the entertainment industry since 2009 after winning the runner-up title at the 2009 Jewelry Pageant. She has gained popularity through projects like "Gao Nep Gao Te", "Hai Duong Trong Gio", "Cay Tao No Hoa", and "Nu Chu". She won the Best Actress award at the Mai Vang Awards in 2018 and 2021.
