The 8Wonder Summer 2025: Moments of Wonder festival, organized by Vingroup, took place on 23/8 at the National Exhibition Construction Center (Cau Tu Lien Street, Dong Anh District, Hanoi).
Tlinh made history as the first Vietnamese artist to participate in the Wonder Sound Lab project. Her collaboration with J Balvin on his hit song "I Like It" ignited the stage at 8Wonder. The crowd roared with excitement as the Vietnamese and Colombian flags waved in unison following their performance. According to the organizers, this symbolic gesture was also a way for international artists to extend their congratulations to Vietnam on its upcoming National Day.
"The presence of the Vietnamese flag throughout the performances holds special significance as the nation commemorates the 80th anniversary of National Day on 2/9," emphasized the organizers.
The duet between Tlinh and J Balvin embodied the festival's theme: "Where Local Beats Become Global Wonders". Wonder Sound Lab, a musical "laboratory" and creative launchpad for Moments of Wonder, aims to forge new musical marvels. This platform allows Vietnamese music to be experimented with, reimagined, and blended with the talents of international artists, resulting in groundbreaking collaborations. Wonder Sound Lab's unique "First-time Global Collab" model features only one Vietnam-international collaboration each season, marking a new milestone and inspiring young artists to pursue global dreams.
8Wonder Summer 2025 featured a star-studded lineup of international and local artists, including: The Kid Laroi, DJ Snake, J Balvin, DPR IAN, Soobin, Hoa Minzy, Tlinh, and (S)trong - Trong Hieu. Each artist brought their multi-million and billion-view hits to the 8Wonder stage, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
According to Vingroup, the event, part of the 80th National Day celebrations, contributes to Vietnam's growing reputation as a leading festival and entertainment destination in the region. "We aim to honor the strength and global aspirations of Vietnam, bringing Vietnamese culture to the world stage," a representative stated.
