Tory Burch unveils spring/summer 2026 collection

The American fashion house's clothing, shoes, and handbags blend vintage and modern styles for an elegant, feminine look.

Tory Burch launched its spring/summer 2026 collection on 15/9 in New York City. The designs paint a vibrant picture, combining feminine beauty with contemporary energy. The collection continues the brand's signature elegance while taking a bold step into the future of fashion, where seemingly opposing elements blend seamlessly.

“For spring/summer 2026, we contemplated the multifaceted nature of women and the different aspects of their style," Burch said in her collection notes. "Femininity and strength, precision and imperfection. The collision of clean lines with organic floral embroidery, beads strung on worn leather.” This statement sets the tone for the new collection, reflecting Burch's design philosophy: balancing tradition and modernity, strength and softness.

Classic American sportswear, like polo shirts, trench coats, camisoles, and striped dresses, are reimagined with unique details.

Flared dresses evoke the 1920s.

Drop-waist jackets paired with flared trousers or skirts create an elegant, comfortable silhouette. Intriguing details include a center-back zipper for waist adjustment and small patches sewn onto the jackets.

Burch emphasized the importance of materials in shaping the collection's aesthetic. Refined silk and sporty wool are knit from opaque and matte materials, creating an intentionally worn and vintage look.

Wrinkled wool, creased silk, and torn silk are skillfully used to create unique surface textures, reflecting the American fashion house's intentional "perfectly imperfect" approach. Frayed edges are meticulously reinforced, and shiny wool is "patched" with beaded embellishments, creating an intriguing contrast.

Handcrafted techniques add a personal touch. Knitwear and mesh dresses are intricately embroidered and beaded, chiffon is hand-embroidered, and viscose is crocheted.

Monogram patterns are inspired by vintage embroidery, each representing a member of Burch's design team, adding a personal story behind the motifs.

Accessories are also a highlight. The Lee Radziwill bag, an iconic design from 2018, returns with a foldable strap and metal or beaded embellishments. The Romby bucket bag is crafted from treated leather for a vintage feel, while woven and crocheted bags offer a casual, relaxed look.

Flats and sandals draw inspiration from the 1950s, adorned with sequins, pearls, and beads, reminiscent of the rococo style. Worn-looking leather shoes and thong sandals borrow details from men's footwear, with interspersed metal straps.

Faux pearl and glass flower earrings and necklaces add a finishing touch.
