The five singers debuted their first collaborative project on the afternoon of 18/9 in Ho Chi Minh City. Ung Hoang Phuc explained, "We've been close friends and solo artists for 20 years. Initially, Lam Chan Huy suggested remaking the song 'Tinh anh em', but I thought, why not create something new together? That's how we decided to form a group."
Ngu Ho Tuong is managed by Ung Hoang Phuc's wife, former model Kim Cuong. However, the members are not obligated to work exclusively as a group. Each artist will continue their solo careers and individual projects.
The members hope to showcase their individual strengths. Ung Hoang Phuc is known for his early 2000s pop music, Khanh Phuong for ballads, Duong Ngoc Thai for bolero, Lam Chan Huy for romantic songs, and Luu Hung, the youngest member, for his unique vocal style.
While admitting initial challenges in blending their voices, the group found common ground through respect and collaboration. Ung Hoang Phuc assigns vocal parts, while Lam Chan Huy selects suitable songs.
Khanh Phuong expressed his excitement about working in a group and interacting with fellow artists on stage. "After a quiet period due to business and personal challenges, my life is more stable now. I'm returning to music to keep the passion alive," he shared.
