According to St Headline on 26/5, the actor stated that last year he suffered a severe illness, fortunately escaping the critical stage; however, he still requires treatment. This incident led Dang Trieu Ton to reflect on the impermanence of life, prompting him to make a will to distribute his assets.

The actor did not disclose specific details about the asset distribution; however, he stated that it is "to provide for the women who have been by his side over the years", despite not marrying any of them.

Dang Trieu Ton has three girlfriends; the longest relationship has lasted about 40 years, and his third girlfriend has been with him for over 6 years. He stated he has read many critical comments from outsiders about his girlfriends' appearances; however, he pays no mind to it. The actor stated: "Actually, when they were young, they were beautiful; what matters is a good personality. When they get older and are no longer beautiful, should I abandon them? I cannot do that."

He has dated Carmen, Cherry, and Nana for many years; the three women accept the relationship, and occasionally, they are seen strolling together. The actor covers the living expenses for all three. Currently, his partners live in apartments in Wan Chai district, Hong Kong, near the actor's home. The four do not live in the same house, allowing each person their own space to avoid frequent conflicts.

Trieu Ton also admitted that having many relationships is not necessarily a good thing, as it makes him busier. "Life is several times more troublesome than for an ordinary person. Chinese media dubbed Dang Trieu Ton the "real-life Vi Tieu Bao", after the polygamous character in Louis Cha's novel Loc Dinh Ky. In the novel, Vi Tieu Bao is cunning, skilled at outsmarting others, and controls his wives.

The actor once said: "I don't spend much; I mainly cover the expenses for those around me. I don't need to explain my actions to outsiders.
