The event took place on Vietnam Family Day, 28/6, and was collaboratively organized by Nho Quan General Hospital, the Ninh Binh Department of Health, the Ninh Binh Youth Union, the Ninh Binh Young Doctors Club, and the Phu Long Commune People's Committee. DHG Pharma, AloBacsi, and Daisy Media accompanied the initiative.
Over 40 doctors, nurses, and pharmacists from central hospitals, along with mobile medical equipment including X-ray vehicles, ultrasound machines, electrocardiogram (ECG) devices, and modern diagnostic tools, were mobilized for the event. In a single day, nearly 1,300 residents received free examinations, consultations, and medicine. Additionally, nearly 200 ultrasounds, over 100 X-rays, and hundreds of ECGs were performed directly in the community.

During the examinations, the medical team identified numerous cases of musculoskeletal conditions, such as osteoarthritis, spinal pain, and herniated discs. Many residents also presented with hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes that had not been regularly monitored or treated. Ultrasound and ECG screenings revealed three dangerous cases of premature ventricular contractions and several individuals at risk of recurrent stroke due to uncontrolled blood pressure.
According to Dr. Nguyen Van Binh, Master of Science, Director of the Center for Scientific and Technical and Medical Services at the National Institute for Control of Vaccines and Biologicals, regular health screenings enable early disease detection, enhance treatment effectiveness, reduce costs, and empower individuals to proactively manage their health.
To support the program, DHG Pharma supplied nearly 50 essential medicines that meet international standards, including EU-GMP and Japan GMP. These medicines address a range of common conditions, such as cardiovascular, neurological, digestive, hepatobiliary, antibiotic, antifungal, ophthalmic issues, and vitamin deficiencies. Beyond receiving free examinations and medication, residents also benefited from consultations with medical experts, gaining insights into their health status and guidance on diet, lifestyle, and disease management. For many in rural areas with limited access to healthcare, this knowledge holds long-term value in disease prevention and improving quality of life. Bui Cong Nguyen, Vice Chairman of the Phu Long Commune People's Committee, noted that the program provides local residents with access to specialized medical services in their community, reducing the time and cost associated with seeking medical care.
