Hy An Holding collaborates with Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine

Hy An Holding and Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine aim to link training with practice and improve the quality of ophthalmology human resources.

Hy An Holding and Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement on 19/8 in Ho Chi Minh City. This partnership focuses on training, scientific research, human resource development, and clinical practice connection. The signing ceremony was attended by Nguyen Van Them, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hy An Holding, and Associate Professor, Doctor Ngo Quoc Dat, Rector of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine.

Under the agreement, both parties will implement initiatives to enhance professional capacity and develop healthcare human resources. Specifically, they will organize training programs and continuous education for medical staff working at Hy An Holding hospitals. Furthermore, based on the university's training needs and the hospitals' capabilities, both will establish links for Hy An Holding hospitals to be recognized as practical training facilities for the university's programs, in compliance with relevant legal regulations.

Beyond training, Hy An Holding and Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine will also collaborate on scientific research in medicine. They will share resources and expertise to improve research quality and publish findings in reputable domestic and international scientific journals. Cooperative activities also include: postgraduate training, organizing workshops, scientific conferences, specialized training, and study tours to exchange practical experience at Hy An Holding hospitals.

Representatives from both sides stated that this collaboration will link training with practical application, allowing young doctors to access clinical environments and modern ophthalmology techniques. This will enhance their professional competence. The partnership will also strengthen knowledge updates, scientific research, and new technology application, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, particularly in specialized areas such as myopia control and high-tech refractive surgery.

This coordination between training, research, and clinical practice is expected to create an effective cooperation model between the university and a healthcare enterprise. Ultimately, it aims to improve the quality of visual health care and protection for the community.

Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine is a reputable medical training institution in the South. It is particularly strong in ophthalmology, known for its expertise in healthcare human resource training and scientific research.

Meanwhile, Hy An Holding operates the Hy An Eye Hospital system, which includes: Sai Gon Bien Hoa Eye Hospital, Sai Gon Dong Thap Eye Hospital, and a chain of eye clinics - Ortho - K Viet Center.
