During the workshop, experts presented three core topics addressing common healthcare needs of modern families.
Opening the program, Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Pediatrics Department, University of Medicine and Pharmacy TP HCM, and Head of General Internal Medicine 2 - Children's Hospital 1, discussed the role of the gut microbiota in early life. He clarified the link between microbiota imbalance and infant colic, emphasizing the role of Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis BB-12 in supporting microbiota balance and improving early gut health.
Next, Associate Professor, Doctor Vu Thi Thanh Huyen, Head of the Endocrinology - Musculoskeletal Department, National Geriatric Hospital, presented a topic focused on bone health for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as women busy with work and life. Her report highlighted the need for early attention to bone health and suggested personalized consultation approaches at pharmacies, based on calcium, vitamin D, and vitamin K.
Concluding the program, Associate Professor, Doctor of Pharmacy Nguyen Tuan Dung, a senior lecturer and former Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department, School of Pharmacy - University of Medicine and Pharmacy TP HCM, shared insights on post-illness recovery needs. He analyzed four different conditions related to fatigue and resistance that pharmacists may encounter, and discussed the potential role of G115 ginseng and micronutrients in supporting recovery from illness and reducing modern-day fatigue.

For pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and women busy with work and life, solutions combining calcium with vitamin D and K were introduced in a personalized manner, tailored to the bone health needs of each group.
