Response:
Eggs can spoil if left at room temperature for too long. The best way to preserve them is to store them in a clean, sealed environment within the refrigerator. However, the refrigerator door experiences frequent temperature fluctuations from being opened and closed, which causes eggs to spoil more quickly. Many families also stack eggs in the door tray, increasing the risk of breakage when the refrigerator is opened.
Ideally, store eggs in their original paper or specialized plastic cartons. Alternatively, place them in a deep tray inside the main refrigerated compartment. This method helps prevent cross-contamination with other foods and keeps eggs fresh longer.
Eggshells sometimes have dirt, chicken, or duck droppings, which can carry pathogenic bacteria. Therefore, before storing, gently wipe them clean with a dry paper towel or soft cloth. If stains are stubborn, quickly rinse them under water and dry immediately to avoid affecting egg quality.

Eggs are a food rich in protein and contain many essential amino acids. Children can eat one egg daily to supplement choline, supporting brain development and cognitive function. Adults should consume about 3-4 eggs per week. Individuals with fatty liver, elevated liver enzymes, or moderate to severe liver disease should limit egg consumption.
