200 police raid 28 locations in 'organized crime disguised as businesses' case

Over 200 police officers raided a criminal ring operating under the guise of businesses, arresting three directors and seven key suspects, and seizing four guns and six pellet rounds.

At dawn on 24/3, Major General Nguyen Minh Tuan, Director of Phu Tho Provincial Police, along with two deputy directors, led a task force of over 200 officers to search 28 locations.

Phu Tho Provincial Police announced that the Investigative Police Agency issued emergency arrest warrants for 10 key suspects. These include Nguyen Van Thuc, Director of Tinh Tuan Trading LLC; Ly Cong Sinh, Director of Dai Loc Construction and Trading LLC; Nguyen Thi Hiep, Deputy Director of Hiep Hung Single-Member LLC; Dam Duy Khanh, Director of BMV Construction and Material Supply LLC and Duy Khanh VP Construction and Environment LLC; and Bui Thi Thi, Director of Minh Thuy Production, Trading, and Services Single-Member LLC.

Police also summoned 26 individuals from Xuan Hoa ward, Phuc Yen, Yen Lac commune, and Binh Tuyen commune for further investigation. Police allege these 36 suspects belong to three notorious criminal groups. These groups violated laws, eroding public trust in local authorities.

Police stated that dismantling this major case aims to cleanse the locality. The operation also prevents organized crime, disguised as businesses, from operating.

Police have not yet announced details of the violations.
