39 individuals impersonating police officers, using VNeID malware to steal 160 billion VND
39 suspects operating in Cambodia have been arrested for allegedly impersonating police officers, tricking 400 people into installing a malicious VNeID application, and stealing over 160 billion VND.
Cao Bang Province Police announced on 16/9 that they have indicted 39 individuals for "using computer networks, telecommunications networks, and electronic means to commit property appropriation."
