According to the police, Helia Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialty Clinic, part of Helia International Company Limited on Hang Chuoi Street, Hai Ba Trung Ward, had numerous violations in its medical examination and treatment activities. The facility exaggerated advertisements about quick and complete recovery to attract patients with low costs. However, when customers visited for examinations, the clinic deliberately presented inaccurate results and exaggerated their conditions to instill fear.

Consequently, the facility used staff members to impersonate doctors and fabricate illnesses to sell exorbitant service packages. In a short period, this group illegally profited tens of billions of dong.
