On 25/6, the Nghe An Provincial People's Procuracy approved the decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Le Thi Thuy, 58, residing in Tan Chau commune. She faces charges of abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State, and the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals, under Article 331, Clause 2 of the Penal Code.

Authorities allege that Thuy recently used social media and other communication methods to post and spread false information. Additionally, she engaged in acts of incitement, instigation, and attracting large crowds related to a local project currently under research and survey by specialized agencies.
Investigators state this behavior is alleged to have impacted local security and order, obstructing the operations of agencies and organizations.
Before her arrest, Thuy worked as a freelancer.
