On 23/8, Tien Minh communal police stated they are gathering evidence to address Thuy’s actions, who resides in the locality.
According to an initial investigation, at around 12h30 on 22/8, a 46-year-old male driver from Chan Hung commune was driving a passenger car on Road 212. Upon reaching Vy Khe village, Tien Minh commune, his vehicle was blocked by Thuy, who was riding a motorbike ahead, swerving erratically before stopping in the middle of the road.
Camera footage showed that after stopping the vehicle, Thuy verbally abused and threatened the driver, asking, "Do you know who your father is?"
Some residents attempted to intervene, but Thuy continued to use a plastic helmet to strike the driver's head. The victim sustained injuries and was transported to Viet Tiep Hospital for emergency treatment.
Upon receiving the report, Tien Minh communal police arrived at the scene and took Thuy to their headquarters for questioning. Test results indicated he was negative for drugs and had a blood alcohol concentration of 0,02 g/l.
Police are continuing to gather evidence for further processing.
