On 10/2, Ben Thanh Ward Police summoned Ma Thanh and Ngo Duy Dong, both 49 years old, along with other involved individuals, to investigate for signs of public disorder.

According to the investigation, around 2:30 am today, Thanh was driving a Bentley car on Nguyen Trai street. Upon reaching the intersection of Nguyen Van Trang in Ben Thanh ward, his vehicle collided with a ride-hailing car driven by a 34-year-old man, who was transporting a 39-year-old male passenger.
Both parties stopped their vehicles in the middle of the intersection to resolve the issue, but a conflict and loud argument ensued. Shortly after, Dong arrived at the scene on a motorbike and, with Thanh, scuffled with and chased the 39-year-old male passenger.
The incident caused disorder in the area and only ceased when traffic police (CSGT) and Ben Thanh Ward Police arrived to restore order. Authorities took the involved individuals in for questioning.

Police advised citizens to remain calm and behave civilly during traffic collisions, avoiding the use of violence which can lead to legal consequences. Any acts causing public disorder, or infringing upon the health or honor of others, will be strictly dealt with according to the law.
