Around 2:50 p.m. on 17/8, a young man boarded a Ha Tinh-plated bus from Thanh Sen ward in the former Ha Tinh city to Cam Trung commune in the former Cam Xuyen district.

During the journey, he observed the driver repeatedly swerving and weaving dangerously to overtake other vehicles, and the rear door of the bus was left open, posing a safety risk. Several frightened passengers voiced their concerns and asked the driver to slow down, but he ignored them.

Upon arriving in Cam Trung commune, the young man exited the bus and took photos of the bus's erratic movements to report to the authorities. The driver immediately turned the bus around, got out, and grabbed the passenger by the collar, demanding he delete the photos.

When the passenger refused, the driver pulled a sharp object from his pocket and chased him. After pursuing him for several dozen meters without catching him, the driver returned to the bus and continued his route.

On 18/8, the young man filed a complaint with the Cam Trung Commune Police.

The Cam Trung Commune Police are currently collaborating with professional units of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police to interview those involved and address the situation.
