'Co giao Huong Loramen' indicted

Nguyen Thi Huong, known as 'Co giao Huong Loramen' and a frequent advertiser with Phu Le, has been charged with defrauding customers.

On 22/8, the Hanoi Police Investigation Agency charged Huong, 27, and her husband Vu Hai Long, to investigate the crime of defrauding customers.

The couple is accused of falsely advertising and selling the Loramen product, illegally profiting over 11,6 billion VND.

This development comes as police expand their investigation into the Phu Le case. Previously, Le Van Phu, known as Phu Le, his wife La Thuy Kieu, accountant Phung Thi Khanh, and lawyer Nguyen Thi Huong Lan were charged by the Hanoi Police Investigation Agency with serious accounting violations and illegally printing, issuing, and trading invoices and state budget collection documents.

Since 2017, Phu and his wife used three companies — Thien Phu Import-Export Trading Service Co., Ltd., Thanh Quang Dang, and Thien Phu Group Trading — to outsource manufacturing and trade various products. Loramen, a male enhancement product, was the most heavily advertised among them.

From 2021 to 2025, Thien Phu Company imported goods from various businesses without issuing invoices or fully declaring taxes. Beyond company accounts, Phu and his wife also used 10 personal bank accounts to receive over 107 billion VND from their business activities.

Kieu stated she was the main director of business operations and directly responsible for sales, only asking her husband for video support when needed. Phu, on the other hand, claimed he did not use the product himself but trusted his wife, so he heavily advertised it to boost sales.

The investigation agency accused Kieu of declaring and paying taxes under the business household name La Thuy Kieu to legalize the received money and reduce the tax payable, thereby causing damage to the state budget.

Additionally, to evade tax authority inspections, Kieu is accused of instructing accountants and employees to create numerous fictitious sales invoices. Lawyer Nguyen Thi Huong Lan was identified as assisting Kieu in this, aiming to conceal Thien Phu Company's accounting violations.

According to the police, Ms. Lan also provided her personal information and that of her relatives for Kieu to create 10 fictitious value-added tax (VAT) invoices, totaling over 1,5 billion VND.
