Defamation on social media: When does it become libel?

Recently, I discovered some former colleagues posting false information about me on social media, particularly Facebook.

These posts not only distort the truth but also severely damage my reputation, directly impacting my work and morale.

Despite my requests to remove these false posts, they have ignored me, leaving me feeling frustrated and helpless. This situation not only causes emotional distress but also threatens my current job.

Therefore, I want to ask: At what point does online defamation that harms someone's reputation become a criminal offense of libel? What are the specific penalties?
