A video recorded by Thao’s friend shows Chinh attacking Thao with a metal bar while Thao was sitting in a chair, choking her, and yelling at her. Chinh then took Thao’s phone and glasses, worth about 20 million VND, and smashed them.
Police investigation confirmed Chinh smashed the patient's phone and threatened her despite security guards' intervention, causing a public disturbance.

Thao said she paid 22 million VND for braces at the clinic in 2021. After having the braces removed in August 2025, she experienced pain and was diagnosed with bone damage at another clinic. When she returned to the original clinic to seek a resolution, she was assaulted.
Yesterday, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health inspected the clinic and found several violations. The clinic did not meet facility requirements, provided services beyond its licensed scope, failed to maintain proper medical records, and advertised services it was not licensed to provide.
Furthermore, three staff members could not present their professional licenses. The Department of Health suspended the clinic's operations pending further investigation and appropriate action.
