Deputy general director of Quang Ninh Thermal Power arrested

Le Viet Cuong, deputy general director of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company, is accused of forging organizational documents.

On 24/2, Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company publicly announced on its official website that it had received information from the Police Investigation Agency, Ministry of Public Security, regarding the initiation of criminal proceedings and the temporary detention of Cuong for forging organizational documents.

Although there is no final conclusion from the competent authorities, based on the organizational charter of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company, the company announced that Cuong is no longer a member of the Board of Directors.

Cuong, 47, is a thermal technology engineer and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was appointed deputy general director of Quang Ninh Thermal Power on 25/3/2019.
