On 13/9, Thanh was indicted by the Supreme People's Procuracy's Investigation Agency for accepting bribes, under Clause 2, Article 354 of the Penal Code.

The other defendants, Tran Nhu Hai, Tran Duc Tuoi, Be Thi Hue, and Nguyen Thi Ngoc (all assessors at the center), were indicted for abuse of power, under Clause 1, Article 356 of the Penal Code.

This action was taken by the Supreme People's Procuracy's Investigation Agency one month after receiving the case of Nguyen Trong Hiep offering bribes, from the Dak Lak Provincial People's Procuracy.

The specific wrongdoings of these individuals have not yet been revealed.
