On the afternoon of 22/4, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Tri Provincial Police initiated a public disturbance case. The investigation targets a group of individuals involved in chases and causing security disorder in Dong Ha and Nam Dong Ha wards.

On the night of 18/4 and early morning of 19/4, a group of teenagers gathered at Cultural - Cinema Center 2 (1A Hung Vuong street, Nam Dong Ha ward). They operated motorcycles at high speeds.

This group carried weapons, engaged in continuous chases, swerving, weaving, revving engines, and shouting, creating chaos along Hung Vuong street towards Dong Ha market.

When the incident occurred, many people gathered at the provincial Cultural - Cinema Center's courtyard to record videos and post them on social media. The event caused public concern and negatively impacted security and order.

Police are actively tracing and clarifying the identities of those involved, consolidating case files for legal processing.

Quang Tri Police urge families to supervise and remind their children to avoid late-night gatherings or associating with groups displaying delinquent behavior. Individuals involved should proactively report to the police.

Residents are also advised against encouraging, livestreaming, or uploading clips that incite public order violations on social media.
