Earlier, on 7/10, the driver operated a truck in Tan Dong Hiep ward, stopping in a prohibited zone. Consequently, traffic police issued an administrative violation record.
After returning home, regretting the fine, the driver posted an image of the violation record along with false information, which damaged the reputation of the traffic police force.
At the police station, the driver admitted to the act, stating the post was made out of momentary emotion and a lack of legal understanding. The individual has since removed the post and committed to not repeating the offense.
The Rach Chiec Traffic Police Team confirmed that the officer who issued the violation record followed proper procedures and did not engage in harassment. The unit advised citizens to verify information before posting or sharing it on social media, emphasizing that spreading false information can lead to legal action.
