On 8/5, a leader from Tan Loc Communal People's Committee announced that the incident occurred in Hamlet 5. Local police have coordinated with professional units of Ca Mau Provincial Police to examine the scene, search for suspects, and investigate the cause.

According to initial information, around 17:35, about 6 young men, armed with weapons, unexpectedly stormed a cafe in Hamlet 5. They attacked 4 people inside, including relatives of the owner.

The incident resulted in one teenager collapsing at the scene, while the other three people fled. Upon the arrival of authorities, the victim was found motionless amidst significant bloodstains and was confirmed dead.

Initially, authorities identified the victim as residing in Thoi Binh commune.
