According to the investigation, Lo Kok hired others to establish Khang Minh Furniture Company. He exploited electronic customs declarations to import three containers of goods from China through Cat Lai Port in early September.
Although the actual value of the goods amounted to billions of dong, the group declared a lower value and under-reported the quantity, falsifying documents (invoices and packing lists) to legitimize the records. This act aimed to reduce payable taxes, causing losses to the state budget.

PC03 conducted multiple operations, searching the containers, company headquarters, and warehouses in Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh. They seized all smuggled goods along with important documents and data.
The case is under further investigation.
