Preliminary information indicates that a young man wearing a green ride-hailing uniform, helmet, and face mask entered the gold shop and used a hammer to smash a display case, grabbing jewelry. A security guard who intervened was assaulted.

Video footage recorded by bystanders shows the suspect sweeping gold into a backpack. Two individuals attempted to trap him inside by using a metal rod to secure the glass door handles. However, the robber pushed his way out and escaped.
Da Nang police are searching for the suspect.
