Hanoi police's 'AI assistant' serves the public 24/7

Hanoi residents can make inquiries, provide feedback, and access information from the Hanoi Police Department 24/7 through an AI operator (1900 0113) and an AI chatbot.

The Hanoi Police Department has launched 4 digital transformation products to serve the public and support its professional work. The AI operator (1900 0113) and AI chatbot provide information to the public, focusing on administrative procedures, crime reporting, crime prevention, and fire safety.

Public input is directed to the relevant units for processing: the Office of the Police Investigation Agency, the Traffic Police Department, and the City Police Inspectorate. Information concerning public security is forwarded to other units for verification and handling according to their jurisdiction.

There are 3 ways for people to connect with the "virtual assistant" and the 1900.0113 hotline:

- Connect to the chatbot through the iHanoi digital citizen application of the Hanoi People's Committee.

- Connect to the chatbot via a QR code (image below).

The police have also distributed 8,000 QR code posters in offices, residential areas, and public places for convenient access.

After connecting to the chatbot, people can use text (typed or voice) to search for information, which the system will automatically respond to.

- Call the toll-free number 1900 0113 to ask questions and hear automated responses: administrative procedures and crime reporting, and reporting violations related to security and order.

The Hanoi Police Department has also implemented 3 other digital transformation products:

- Smart 113 and 114 hotline systems: These systems filter calls automatically to detect and eliminate spam and irrelevant calls to prevent network congestion in emergencies. The system uses speech-to-text technology to quickly record and analyze call content, supporting instant responses.

- Digital Museum: With a click on baotangcahn.hanoi.gov.vn, people can visit, research, and learn about the police force, including artifacts, figures, and historical events. Users can experience a 360-degree virtual tour, navigating as if present in the actual museum, with detailed images.
