The indictment followed an administrative inspection of an apartment on DH604 street in Chanh Phu Hoa ward, a former part of Binh Duong province. Authorities discovered 11 Bangladeshi nationals residing there.
During the inspection, the group failed to declare temporary residence or present passports and visas. A cross-check confirmed that 10 individuals had overstayed their temporary residence permits.
Investigators determined that Linh and his wife were aware these individuals lacked valid documents. Despite this, they arranged accommodation, provided transportation, directly employed them, and paid salaries, all for their personal gain.
The Ho Chi Minh City Police's Immigration Management Department emphasizes that businesses employing foreign workers must complete all necessary procedures, including invitations, sponsorships, visa issuance, and work permits.
The department urges citizens to report any signs of residency or immigration violations to the authorities.
