General Secretary To Lam directed the implementation of this intensive campaign, aiming for Ho Chi Minh City to become a "drug-free city" by 2030. The city has also established a steering committee and a support team to coordinate implementation across multiple levels.
During this period, police will collect statistics and re-evaluate the situation regarding addicts, supply sources, and drug hotspots to improve management.
In addition to drug offenses, authorities will also focus on tackling criminal, economic, corruption, and smuggling rings, as well as violations in cyberspace.
